The Germidour certified seed variety produces large purple bulbs. This garlic, of the Cadours purple garlic type, is an early variety that can be used to produce fresh or dried garlic.

Large, round, violet bulbs. A vigorous variety, ideal for AOC Cadours violet garlic.
Germidour is a vigorous variety with high yield potential. The garlic skin is characterized by alternating white and violet with brown cloves. Germidour grows well in clay soils (especially for its color).
The planting date for Germidour seeds will depend on the final objective. For fresh garlic, it is possible to sow as early as the first days of October. For dry marketing, planting should take place around October 10-20.

How are certified garlic seeds packaged?
Two types of packaging are available:
- Bulb:
- Standard packaging in 20kg bags sealed with blue label.
- Small packaging in 250g, 500g, 1kg, 5kg, 10kg for traders and seed producers.
- Shucked/seeded: Just before planting, garlic must be deseeded or deseeded. This involves separating the cloves of a head of garlic from the root plate, in order to individualize the garlic cloves (clove = cloves). EARL du Pont Vert provides a garlic shelling service for customers who require it.
You thus receive garlic "ready to plant". We can produce three or four sizes of cloves (large, medium-small and very small).
Why plant garlic from certified seed?
The certified garlic plant is a guarantee of sanitary traceability and quality. Certified garlic seed is obtained by complying with the strict specifications of the Service Officiel de Contrôle (S.O.C.).
Certified garlic seed guarantees :
